Kelong trip!

Been some time seen i have something to write!! hee.. went to some kelong a few days back and boy, was it fun!! Went there with my best friend, Charlene and a group of nus students from the geo society..
Upon reaching there..we had to walk a really long way to the kelong.. about 15min.. just planks and a few wooden poles… scary… the kelong was pretty big though.. and the food there.. great!! delicious!! oishii desu yo!! fresh seafood (including crabs, squids, fish, lobster!) for every meal. The rooms there are pretty nice too.. no need to book a air-conditioned one.. cos no point.. its really cooling there day and night.. but.. there isnt any hot water for shower..so.. it was damn cold! very very very cold!! especially on the last day when i had to bath while it was raining outside.. cold!
The seaview is really beautiful.. lene and i tried almost every single water sports offered..hee.. on the first day..we went to this deserted island..(not really that deserted..) to collect sea shells.. (collected lots!) and then the both of us decided to go for a swim in the sea.. nice.. we ended up snorkelling cos we borrowed a goggle from the uncle and with one look under the sea.. it was so attractive and beautiful we got hooked on it… once.. i was looking down at the corals when i saw something transparent and.. jelly-like.. a small jelly-fish.. OH MAN!! i started to pedal very hard.. struggling to get back to the shore when lene stopped me and said, "what??!!" i told her, "i’m not sure if i’m right..but i think there’s a jelly-fish down there.." She looked really shocked.. (cos she has been stinged by a jellyfish b4 and knew how horrible it was..) I was still trying to get back and away from that jelly fish when that lene… keep holding me back and telling me not to panick..hahaha… then she asked where was it.. I pointed.. "right below us.."hahahaha then! finally she panicked! haah and willing to let me go run for my life! hahahaa had a great laugh about that!! it happened really fast..but.. its damn funny.. recalling how she refused to let me go thinking the jellyfish is far away..-_-!!..
We tried swimming back to the sea to see the corals.. (with great caution).. i was swimming in front..(without goggles) while lene was behind (with goggles..) and then suddenly.. once again.. she looked at me and gesture me to swim back.."you better come back.." i knew straight away what she saw again..hahaha.. panicked once again..hahaha back on the shore..she told me she saw a really huge jellyfish this time.. with its long tenticles.. hahaha that was the last time we dared to venture out to see the corals..hahaha
Back at the kelong.. we tried banana boat (where i felt like the world collapsed on me everytime we fell off the banana boat..-_-), canoeing (my hands ache after that..) and jet skiing!! The best part the entire trip is the chance to ride the jet ski!! cos.. its not allowed to ride one if you do not have a licence!! ha! lene went full speed!! hahaha it was really really fun! we were riding far out to the sea (no limits!!) and flying over small waves!! cool!!!!!!!!! Its really a unforgetable experience to drive a jet ski.. felt like you are in total control.. no limits of speed and no limit to where you wanna go..=D
One thing that only lene and i tried was the enclosed "swimming pool"..hahaha there were fish inside.. and a… SLIDE! hahaha lene and i played the slide so many times i think our entire body ache like hell by the end of the day..haha (slide was really steep and high above…) though the swimming pool is small.. there is no doubt we can still train our muscles..cos..-_-.. the waves give pushing us to the sides and we had to pedal CONSTANTLY to keep ourselves in the middle of the pool.. (there are crabs and more fishes on the sides of the pool).. till today.. my should and arms still aches..hahaha but it was a really fun time we had!
The last thing i have to mention that i will NEVER forget.. is that we had to walk in the rain.. (with a disposable rain coat) on the long, wooden planks form the kelong back to land.. (remember there were no support except some wooden poles by the side..) OH MAN! IT  WAS THE MOST TERRIFYING EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD UP TILL TODAY!!!! lene was in front of me and there were a girl and a man behind me.. at first.. everything was fine.. then the rain started to increase.. the wind was big.. i was so frightened i had to hold on to the pole (shorter than i am) for dear life!!!! i couldnt continue to walk! felt like i was going to fly off any minute!! i tried to shout for lene..but..T_T the rain was too big and she couldnt hear me..neither can she see me.. she told me she tried to turn back to see where was i when the wind nearly knocked her down.. so.. feeling it was too dangerous.. she decided to walk to land and put down her bag before returning to find us.. i felt so frightened and helpless at that moment.. i turned and saw that the girl behind me was also stucked.. and the other man was trying to help her to me.. then.. he decided that we should walk together hand in hand.. with him the first.. me.. then the girl.. i held onso tight to their hands as though i was trying to crush them..hee.. we walked like forever to reach the land… the moment i saw lene walking back to look for us.. i felt so happy..so relieved.. relieved that she is ok.. also.. i felt like i’m not alone again..T_T.. apparently, lene was worried that  we might have fallen into the sea.. well.. i was never that happy to be back on land.. to be alive! hahahaha To sum iT all.. it was a fun, unforgetable and terrifying experience.. =D
